Dr Peter van der Meulen uses ozone therapy, to sterilise teeth prior to the bonding of restorations. Ozone has also been documented to significantly aid in the healing of soft tissue lesions (ulcers and wounds) in the oral cavity.

All dental implants and natural teeth treated at our practice receive ozone therapy prior to the restorations being placed or bonded.

This ozone therapy (3 molecules of oxygen per ozone molecule) is aimed at completely sterilising the area to receive the restoration.
